A downloadable game

This game is still very much in production as only one person was writing the code but there is a story behind the idea. The concept of the game is supposed to be that of a mediaeval rogue like centered around a female knight who needs to prove herself to the queen so she can become the princess's knight (and fiancé). The knight must make her way to the center of the kingdom by dawn to participate in a duel. Except the queen does not approve of the love between the princess and the knight and throws wave after wave of thieves, soldiers, and even other full fledged knights to try and stop our brave heroin. The plan is to have 3 main sections, the slums, the city, and the castle. The jewels you get at the end of stages improve damage (red), heal you (green), or make you move faster (yellow). More upgrades will become available the farther you get into the game but as of now there are only 3 small stages in the slums. While this very small build was limited by both time and resources the story we have* planned is a very compelling one about trying over and over in a magic groundhog day cycle, all to prove that when one strives and sacrifices for their own goals as well as others no one can get in their way. But even then only Time Will Tell if you can make it to the duel.
